We are looking for energetic, passionate, and experienced gymnastic coaches to join our coaching team.

GFA and Competition Squad Gymnastic Coaches


Skills & Attributes:

·       An understanding of the value of physical literacy and the need to be active through gymnastics activities

·       Intermediate GFA (GFA Program) or WAG Advanced (WAG Comp program)- Coach Accreditation

·       Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership

·       Annually updating Gymnastics accreditation in accordance with Gymnastics Australia technical membership requirements.

·       Current First Aid/CPR qualification

·       Working with Children Check



Kindergym Leader

 Qualifications & experience

·       Experience in working with young children under 5

·       Kindergym Coaching qualification

·       Current First Aid/CPR qualification

·       Working with Children Check

Tasks & responsibilities

·       Assist children's development in a fun and safe environment

·       Actively coach and allocate coaches to ensure that the classes are adequately staffed

·       Management of programs and facilitate member growth across the Kindergym Program

·       Mentor, encourage and support junior coaches within these programs

·       Devise all lesson plans and ensure that they are delivered to our members

·       Build positive relationships with all members, colleagues and stakeholders

YMCA Seaford Gymnastics


The Y is looking for passionate individuals to build the Y culture and values into the newly acquired Seaford Gymnastics Centre.

The Gymnastics Coach, reporting to the Head Coach, will: 

·        Deliver a variety of Gym Sports programs with professionalism and care for participant

·        Interact with children positively and assist in the development of technique and skills 

·        Be responsible for the safety of participants and equipment during programs 

·        Provide excellent customer service to children and parents

Tea Tree Gully Gymsports
Women's Artistic Gymnastics / Gymnastics for All - Intermediate Coach
Required shifts:

WAG - Monday 4.30-7, Thursday 4- 7.30 & Saturday 12 - 3.30 - Level 3.
GFA - Tuesday 4-5


To write, coordinate and provide programs in collaboration with the head coach that meet the needs and the level of the athletes. Programs must meet standards that are set by the club, GSA and GA and are to reflect progress and safety. To monitor all programs in place and evaluate their effectiveness and progression on a regular basis


To provide a safe, friendly and supportive environment to the athletes, parents/caregivers, other club members and volunteers. To provide and issue information on all aspects of the gymsport and other services offered by the club.


To have and provide technical knowledge on the following subjects up to and including international standards:

  • Skill development
  • Up to date knowledge on state and national level systems
  • Coach education
  • Requirements for state and national competitions
  • Gymsport safety
